William David Miranda, 83 years of age, passed away on Saturday Dec. 23, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Boston, MA to the late Raymond and Harriet (Jacobson) Miranda. Bill was the cherished husband of Maria Iantosca and is survived by his loved daughter Margaret 'Megan" Miranda and his brother Daniel and his wife Marguerite Miranda.
Bill's passion was for his beloved Opera which he taught for 52 years. He founded The New England Opera Club.

For those wishing to honor his life a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society would be much appreciated.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 2, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the DeVito Funeral Home
1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington. Rabbi Devon Lerner will close the morning with prayers at 11:00 am.
