In Our Care
Wayne Edward LaValle, 78, died after a difficult struggle with Alzheimer’s on Thursday, November 24, 2022 in Woburn, MA. Wayne was born on September 11, 1944 in Cambridge, MA to Joseph LaValle and Josephine D'Ariggo LaValle Tucker. In 1967 he married Janice MacLean and together they settled in Lexington, MA to raise their three sons David, Mark and Brian. Wayne started working at ten, became an apprentice at sixteen and ultimately a Master Electrician and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers member in the residential and commercial construction industry in Cambridge and Boston. Wayne leveraged his electrical experience to shift into a sales and operations role in the security system design and installation industry until 2004. Wayne continued to work part-time as a residential electrician until 2016, when the early signs of Alzheimer’s forced him to retire and sadly kept him from continuing to play golf with his lifelong friends. Wayne is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice LaValle, his three sons David, Mark and Brian, and their five grandchildren as well as his brother Barry and sister Karen Mixion. Funeral services will be privately held.
