Warren Odell Williams Sunrise 1942 – Sunset 2017

Went home to be with the Lord on November 29, at 8:30 pm. He lived privately in Cambridge Mass. for over 20 years. He often took walks down to his favorite place, Harvard Square. He was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina moving around for several years then settling in Cambridge Mass.

His undergraduate education was completed at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, he then earned his master’s degree in Economics at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. In his early years he was most proud of his Fellowship at Harvard University’s PhD. Program of Economics which he will complete in his next life.

Warren is survived by his brother Alvin L. Williams (Starr) of New Jersey, sister Donny Jean Pearson of North Carolina, daughter Raissa Williams (Eddie), granddaughter Elyse Cabrera , ex-wife Yasmin Mogul and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is predeceased by his mother Eliza Jane Williams, and father Darry Leavens.

A special thanks to Ginette, his homecare specialist, friends, neighbors and nurses in Cambridge Massachusetts who found it not robbery to share their lives with him especially in his last days.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Sunday 11:00am to 1:00pm with a memorial service to commence at 1:00pm in The De Vito Funeral Home, 1145 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington (781)-643-5610.
Interment will be held on Monday at 10:00am December 11, 2017 at Cambridge Cemetery 76 Coolidge Avenue Cambridge, MA, please meet at front gate prior to interment
