Chapski, Shirley M. (O'Brien) of Belmont and formerly of Arlington, passed away peacefully on September 19th at the age of 93. Shirley lived a long and full life. She embraced people and made friends easily. She was a member of several groups including bridge players, book club, square dancers, Council on Aging and Catholic Women's Club. She often volunteered her secretarial skills within these groups. She was foremost a dedicated mother who treasured her children, her son, daughters-in-law and her grandchildren. She enjoyed every moment with them. She loved her family life and happily hosted many holiday gatherings for all to enjoy. Shirley was predeceased by Edward, her loving husband of 70 years. She is survived by her children; Christine Chapski of Arlington, Karen Sullivan and her husband Richard of Beverly, Brian Chapski and his wife Toni Meehan of Beverly, and Joseph Czapski and his wife Holly of Arlington. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Sean and Tim Sullivan and Eva and Isaac Czapski and by two great-grandchildren; Peter and Julie Sullivan.
