(Sarah) Jane Guy, 72, February 15, Arlington resident since 1976 is survived by her longtime partner and wife of 41 years, Gail Goodearl, sisters Mary Ann Guy and Phyllis King and her children, as well as cousins. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and received her BS from Wittenberg College, an MBA from Simmons College, and an MS from Boston University. Jane worked as a Physical Education teacher, a professional Girl Scout, a systems manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, and a senior fitness instructor and consultant. Jane was a member of Church of our Saviour in East Arlington for many years. She and her wife enjoyed travel throughout their marriage, beginning with camping trips to many National Parks, including those in Hawaii and Alaska. During their exotic travels, they visited numerous countries and sights from Antarctica to Zanzibar. Jane and Gail visited all seven continents together. Travel was their passion. During their time together, Jane and Gail enjoyed the company of two Papillon dogs, Feather and Trinket. Jane loved the water and all the animals that resided in it. She had the opportunity to swim with manatees and dolphins, stroke grey whales in Baja, Mexico, and snorkel on the Barrier Reef, Jordan, and Bali. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of Our Saviour, Accessibility Fund, 21 Marathon Street , Arlington MA 02474. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass on Sunday February 26th at 12:00pm in the Church of Our Saviour, 21 Marathon St., Arlington.
