Rose Marie Sabatino (Catalano), 92 of Watertown, MA passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 23, 2019.
Rose was born in Calabria, Italy and travelled to the US with her family when she was eleven years old, moving to Watertown where she lived for over 70 years.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph ‘Ace’ Sabatino, her daughter Jean & husband Joe McCusker of Watertown, son Wayne & wife Kelly Sabatino of Waltham, daughter Debra Burke & partner Dave O’Loughlin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, loving grandchildren Patrick & Sean McCusker and Alexa Sabatino and many nieces and nephews. Beloved daughter of the late Rocco Nicholas & Immacolata (Galluzzo) Catalano and sister of the late Dominic & Joseph Catalano.
In keeping with her stated wishes, there will be no traditional wake. Visitation at the DeVito Funeral Home, 761 Mt Auburn St, Watertown, MA Tuesday January 29, 2019 from 8:30 to 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am in Sacred Heart Church, 770 Mt Auburn St, Watertown, MA. Burial to follow at St Patrick’s Cemetery in Watertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association will be greatly appreciated. Please visit www.heart.org
