In Our Care

Cusolito, Robert Lawrence passed away surrounded by his family on April 1, 2018, just 25 days shy of his 62nd birthday. Rob was the beloved son of the late Jeanne B. Cusolito. He is survived by his father, Dr. Lawrence F. Cusolito of Belmont, sisters Jeannine C. Maguire (Thomas) of Yarmouth Port MA and Pompano Beach FL, Christine “Tina” C. Mosca (Stephen) of Belmont and Bass River, MA. Cherished uncle to Sam, Ben and Andrew. He was loved and supported by many friends who were able to share in his life and last days. Rob lived a rich life. He was an avid reader, fisherman, golfer, amazing cook and a talented musician. He could master anything he set his mind to. He had a keen sense of humor and candor that never ceased, joking with us to the very end. He attended the University of Wisconsin making lifelong friendships and was a loyal and devout “Badger” fan. His career took him all over the world and he shared his love of travel and adventure with his family, especially his nephews. He could take an ordinary moment and turn it into a magical memory.
His family would like to thank Mt. Auburn Hospital and it’s staff for being an important part of “Rob’s Team” during his fight for life, especially the Oncology team, Primary care team and the loving and dignified care he received from the ICU surgical team. Rob would be honored if you chose to make a donation, in his name, to the Mt. Auburn Oncology department or the Mt. Auburn Auxiliary at donate.mountauburnhospital.org. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements under the care of DeVito Funeral Home of Watertown. Visit devitofuneralhome.com to send an online condolence.
