Carr, Robert M. of Nashua NH formerly of Somerville passed away on September 13th due to complications from COVID-19. Beloved husband of Susan G. (Hatch) Carr. Loving father of Robert C. Carr and Anthony R. Carr of Nashua, NH. Cherished son of Josephine Grandinetti Frontera of Medford. Devoted brother of Joseph A. Carr and his wife Cindi Carr of Blandford and William F. Carr of Arlington. Stepfather of Alexandra Cancelliere and her husband Frank A. Cancelliere Sr., of Stoneham, Nathaniel Smith of Wasilla, AK, Andrew Smith of Concord, NH and Dylan Anderson of Sartell, MN. Dear grandfather of Frankie A. Cancelliere of Stoneham. Loving Uncle of William C. Carr of Arlington, Joseph A. Carr and his wife Stacie of Morehead City NC, Brian R. Carr and his wife Lizzy of Woburn, Michael W. Carr of Medford, Kevin D. Carr and his wife Rebecca Carr of East Sandwich and Celisse & Jackie Carr of Bowie, MD. GUB “Great Uncle Bob” to Breelyn and Daniel Carr of Woburn and Blakelynn Carr of Morehead City, NC. Predeceased by his stepfather James Frontera. Robert was a long time worker of Herb’s Locksmith in Arlington and Pizzeria Regina in Medford for 30 years.
Robert will forever be remembered as an extremely loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many. His larger-than-life personality and contagious smile lit up any room he entered, and he was so well loved by everyone that knew him. He cherished any time with his family and friends and he will always hold a very special place in our hearts….we all love you, Bobby!
Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Monday from 4-7 pm and to his funeral mass on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, Somerville.
