Ralph J. "Ace" Sabatino, 93 of Watertown, MA passed away peacefully on the morning of June 5, 2022. Born in Cambridge in 1929, he was a lifelong resident of Watertown. Ralph was well known all around town. After retiring from Raytheon, he both played and coached with the Boston Amateur Baseball +35 League well into his 70s and was often seen at the Victory Field ballpark. He was a frequent customer at the local Dunkin Donuts in Watertown Square, always greeting other customers with his familiar "How ya doin', Ace?" and a laugh. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch in nice weather and waving to all the neighbors as they passed by. He is survived by his daughter Jean and husband Joe McCusker of Watertown, son Wayne and wife Kelly of Waltham and daughter Debra Burke and her partner Dave O'Loughlin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, loving grandchildren Patrick, Sean and Alexa and many nieces and nephews. Beloved husband of the late Rose M. Sabatino, son of the late Fiore and Teresa Sabatino and brother of the late Libby Savi and Dominic Sabatino. Visitation at the DeVito Funeral Home, Watertown, MA on Friday June 10, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Watertown at 11:30am. Burial to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Watertown. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or to a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.
