Peter M. Whitney, of Merrimack, NH passed away on April 10, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, MA to the late Phil and Eunice Whitney , Peter was raised in Arlington, MA , lived in Billerica , MA for many years before settling in Merrimack, NH.
Survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Anne L. (Danner) and his loving children; Sharon and husband Gene Fantozzi of Merrimack, NH, Brian Whitney and wife Susan of Merrimack ,NH, Deanne and husband Dave Fontaine of Tilton,NH, Peter M. Whitney Jr. and wife Susan of Goffstown, NH and Lynda and husband Steve Mack of Merrimack, NH.Dear grandfather to his 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Peter is survived by his siblings; John Whitney and his wife Anne of Arlington, Susan Doherty and her husband Donald of North Reading, Phil Whitney of Tewksbury, Kathy Hogan and her husband John of Arlington, Melissa Goddard and her husband Charles of Melrose and Jeannie Hackley and her husband Rick of Reading.
