In Our Care

Paul L. Cameron, 91, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023. He was the loving husband of Patricia D. (McMahon) Cameron, loving father of Stephen Cameron and his wife Paula of Wakefield and Jane Mattucci and her husband John of Melrose. He was the brother in law of Geraldine and Richard Verrier, James and Kathy McMahon, Denise and David Prindiville and dear "Pa" to Brett and his wife Sophie, Brian and Olivia Cameron, Kayla and her fiance' Ethan, Gregory and Jill Mattucci. Paul was predeceased by his parents , Frederick and Agnes Cameron and brother Fred Cameron.
Paul was a strong, compassionate and kind man. He was a true family man. Paul was a loving husband, an adoring father and a proud Pa to his six grandchildren. We are not sure that there was anything better in life to him than watching them grow and play sports...particularly hockey. His winter months became one big schedule of various hockey games in several different locations. All six of his grandchildren played hockey.
Paul was well known for coaching hockey in Arlington. So many of his former players refer to him as " one of the best" when it came to coaching.
Just like his father and brother, Paul was a proud Marine who loved his country.
Paul was one of a kind. He loved spaghetti and meatballs, a couple of Heinekens and good conversation. He was the master of dates and names and frequently started a conversation with " in 1965"....
He loved vacationing down the Cape and Puerto Rico and very much enjoyed his dips in the Ocean.
He asked very little and never complained. He will leave an enormous void in our lives now that he is gone.
He will be greatly missed by all but we take comfort that he is reunited with his beloved wife Pat in Heaven.
