In Our Care
Reveliotty, Patricia E. (O’Brien) of Plymouth, MA passed away October 23, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Charles “Nick” Reveliotty. Loving mother of Alex Reveliotty and his wife Angela and their son Massimo of Watertown, Leah Reveliotty of San Francisco, CA, Kiet Nguyen, Kim Oanh Do and her children Katherine and John Nguyen and Sofia Krotla and her husband Andrew and their daughter MaryAnn. Dear sister of Barbara Schweizer and her husband William, William O’Brien and his wife Maria, Mary Geuras and her husband George, John O’Brien and his wife Nancy and the late Francis O’Brien and his wife Julia and the late Charles O’Brien. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Pat had an interesting, diverse and well lived life. She maintained friendships with people from all phases of her life – childhood, college, graduate school, neighbors, her travel group as well as family - keeping in touch with cards, gifts, or a call to share a laugh.
Her humor was valued by everyone. She would often begin laughing before finishing her stories and yet her infectious laugh would cause others to breakdown - not certain what they were even laughing about.
Education was something Pat cherished for herself and for others. Pat received her undergraduate degree in English from Northeastern University in Boston and even later in life pursued and achieved her Masters in TESOL from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. But it was the education of others that Pat cherished most. Pushing her students with humor and patience, "Teacher Pat" was admired and appreciated for the enthusiasm she brought to the classroom. Beyond class, she and her husband "Mr. Pat" would often host holiday and summer parties for her students.
Pat was incredibly generous to her family, her students and her friends. She touched the lives of many individuals whether as godparent, foster parent, loving sister or caring friend. Her generosity might be financial, emotional or philosophical, but it was always spirited and always humorous.
Burial was held in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA with her beloved husband Nick. Arrangements under the care of DeVito Funeral Home of Watertown, MA.
Memorial donations are requested to Franciscan Children's, 30 Warren St., Brighton, MA 02135 or https://franciscanchildrens.org/giving/donate-today/
