Miriam "Mim" (Bitzer) Sweeney, of Springhill Fl, (formerly of Arlington MA) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 10, 2023. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert Francis Sweeney and daughter Sheryl Mignanelli. Survived by son Scott Sweeney of Springhill Fl, Son Steven Sweeney and his wife Mandy Sweeney of Huntsville AL, son Sean Sweeney and his wife Diane Sweeney of Windham NH and brother John "Jack" Bitzer of Dallas TX. Dear grandmother to Dan Sweeney, Katie Hile, Amanda Weist, Christopher Johnson, Andrew Mignanelli, Amanada Mignanelli, Rachel Mignanelli, Megan Mignanelli, Ashley Sweeney & Ryan Sweeney. Sister to the late Joyce Crimmings, late Alfred Bitzer, late Robert Bitzer, daughter to the late Alfred and Mildred Bitzer. Also survived by her brother-in-law Dave Crimmings and niece Lynda Robichaud, niece Karen Clark, nephew David Crimmings jr, niece Susie Crimmings, niece Elissa Taylor, niece Sara Huffman, nephew Jeremy Bitzer, niece Tammi Bailey and niece Staci Bitzer. Great Grandmother to MacKenzie Stouffer, Jack Weist, Lukas Weist, Julie Johnson, and Owen Johnson. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington on Wednesday May 3 from 4pm - 7pm. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday May 4 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 70 Medford Street, Arlington.
