Minnie G. (Silva) Amato of Lawrenceville, GA., formerly of Watertown, MA., passed away on 23 September 2012 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Amato Sr. She was born 29 August 1911 in Somerville, MA and was the daughter of the late Mary (Perry) Silva. She was preceded in death by her son Stanley L. Amato Sr. and his first wife Grace A. (Dimock) Amato. She is survived by her Son Michael J. Amato Jr. and his wife Sue (Daniels) Amato of Roswell, GA., her Daughter-in-Law Susan M (Brown) Amato of Lawrenceville, GA., her Daughter-in-Law Marjorie E. (Omand) Amato of Franklin, MA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Michael Amato and his wife Maureen of Quincy, MA., Denise (Amato) Goode of Albuquerque, NM., Michele (Amato) Talluto of Lawrenceville, GA., Paul J. Amato of Lawrenceville, GA., and Stanley L. Amato Jr. of Abington, MA. She has nine great-grandchildren, Alicia, Erica and Derek Amato all of Quincy, MA., Dennis Goulet of West Virginia, Terry Gregoire of Bellingham, MA., Stephen Gregoire of Albuquerque, NM., Jamie, Sheena and Salvatore (Sam) Talluto all of Lawrenceville, GA and her two great-great grandchildren Dominic Surette and Dellila Talluto also of Lawrenceville, GA. A private burial will be held at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge MA., on Thursday at 1PM.
