In Our Care

Ciampi, Lucille of Stoneham, formerly of Watertown and Cambridge on June 21st. Beloved daughter of Sabino and Angelina (Perroni) Ciampi. Sister of John and his late wife Emily of Tewksbury, Anthony and his late wife Anna of Watertown, Paul and his wife Patricia of Framingham and the late Susie Corso and her late husband Demetro of Watertown. Lucille was a loving aunt of 17, great aunt of 17 and great great aunt of 4. Also survived by many loving extended family.

Known to most as Lulu or Auntie, she grew up in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge Latin High School. After high school, she worked at the Cambridge City Hospital, in the Medical Record Department, where she did coding and transcription. She retired from the hospital after more than 40 dedicated years.

Lulu loved to travel with friends and family. She visited many states, but especially enjoyed trips to Aruba, the Caribbean and Italy. Another favorite was trips to Foxwoods, where she would drop a few quarters into a slot machine.

One of Lulu's favorite past times was playing bingo. She would go on Sunday nights where she would meet friends and enjoy their company, as well as the game. She also loved making puzzles, doing crosswords and playing games on her tablet.

Always a cheerful person, she loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed a good meal, a few laughs and the occasional glass of wine. Everyone that met her has a story about Lulu. How she made them laugh, how she brought joy to them and how good she was to them. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
