80, of Arlington passed away Sept. 9, 2017. Beloved husband of 58 years to Helen (Thomas). Devoted father of Richard Malone and his wife Sharon of Arlington, Patricia Malone of Weymouth and Gary Malone of Arlington. Also survived by his beloved grandchildren Richard Malone, Jennifer Collins, Danielle and Jake Malone and his great grandchildren Anthony Malone and Luella Collins. Brother of the late Douglas Malone, Marilyn Wilkie and Barbara Oxner. Son of the late Lester and Doris Malone of Upper Woods Harbour, Nova Scotia were Larry was born in 1937. Larry grew up as a lobsterman and at the age of 19 moved to the states and proudly became a U.S. citizen. He was the proud owner of Hanson & Tilton Auto Body in Arlington for 33 years. There was never a customer who left unhappy due to Larry's endearing personality and superior workmanship. An avid golfer, dedicated fan of the Red Sox and Patriots but more than anything he loved spending his days with family in his treasured vacation home in Ogunquit, ME.
Relatives and Friends will gather on Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON and on Tuesday commencing at 10 a.m. with Graveside Services at 11 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
