Katherine Petrin King, 74, passed away peacefully at Brooksby Village Continuing Care in Peabody, MA on October 6, 2021 following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is survived by her three children, David King, Brian King, and Karen Simmons, and five grandchildren Lara King, Vlad King, Annabel King, George King, and Quahhaar Simmons, Jr. Kathy was a longtime resident of Virginia Beach, VA where she was active in the community. She is predeceased by her husband, John B. King, Jr. and her mother Katherine A. Petrin. An outdoor burial service will be held at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Blairstown, NJ on October 18, 2021 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
