Garballey, John R. of Burlington formerly of Arlington. Passed away January 2nd. Loving father of John R. Garballey Jr., his wife Kim of Burlington and their children Dante, Anthony, Joseph and Amanda, Sherri Mastronardi and her husband Christian of Wilmington and their children Charlie, Cody and Nicholas, and David P. Garballey of Arlington. Former husband of Patricia and dear brother of Anne and her husband Edward O’Connor of Northborough, James Garballey and his wife Maureen of Arlington, Margaret Gibbons of Belmont, and Maureen Skillins of Cambridge. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family members. John retired from Harvard University in 2017 after 38 years. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Friday from 3-7 pm and to his funeral mass on Saturday at 10 am in St. Agnes Church.
