Joan M. Sullivan, (Abbott), of Danvers formerly of Arlington March 3. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Sullivan. Devoted mother of Taralee Lombard and her husband James of Danvers, Kerry Sullivan and her partner Paul Zybert of Rowley, Brendan Sullivan and his wife Judy of Casco, Maine, Brian Sullivan and his wife Karen of Acton, Shawn Sullivan and his wife Lorraine of Yarmouth and Erin Gorman of Newport, Maine. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Sandy Abbott. Family and friends are invited to visit in The DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass Avenue ARLINGTON on Thursday morning at 9:00 to 11:00 with a funeral mass to commence at 11:30 in St. Camillus Church. Interment to follow Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Joan had a very large and loving family that she treasured and enjoyed spending time with. She had a very outgoing personality and could make friends with almost anyone in the blink of an eye. Her favorite foods were pizza and ice cream (especially grape nut!). She lived almost all of life in Arlington but also enjoyed spending time in the summer at the family cottage on Lake Kanasatka in NH and her numerous trips to Ireland to visit with extended family and friends.In lieu of flowers donations in Joan's memory to: Care Dimensions Hospice, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923, would be appreciated.
