Joan Marie Daley, age 81 of Nampa , Idaho, formerly of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on September 1. Devoted and loving mother of Charles MacMurray and his wife Mary of Weymouth, Cathleen Jordan and her husband Carl of Nampa, Idaho, Lynda Garcia of San Jose, California, Kevin MacMurray of Boston, Stephen MacMurray of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kenneth MacMurray of San Jose, California and Sharon Brink of Nampa, Idaho; loving grandmother of Katie Dundon, Amy Dundon, Colleen LaRue, Ryan Brink, Bryan MacMurray, Andrea Garcia, Jason Brink and Jamie Byram; loving great grandmother of Joseph Larue, Jr.; sister of the late Henry Daley, Mary Connelly, Grace Dunn and John Daley, Survived by her sisters Teresa Lambert of Needham and Rita Donovan of Watertown ;and her brother, James Daley of Watertown; and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was a graduate Cambridge Latin High School. After raising her family, Joan returned to school and worked as an administrator. She was a giving, fun –loving adventurous mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time and traveling with those most dear to her. She will be remembered for her faith, gift of a great sense of humor and love of family.
A Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 770 Mt Auburn St, Watertown, MA at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 10.
