James joined the Navy after graduating Cambridge Rindge High School. Upon returning he joined the Arlington Fire Department where he worked for 30 years. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and proudly served as their Grand Knight. James loved to travel, spend time at the beach with family and help out at his friends farm.
