RICE - Hugh Joseph Rice, Jr. " Joe", formerly of Arlington passed away March 25 , 2016 in Delray Beach, FL. Devoted son of the late Hugh and Jane ( Stanford) Rice and beloved brother of Mary Rice Gilbert of Peabody and the late John S. " Jack " Rice. Joe was the dear uncle of Michael Gilbert and the late William Gilbert. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m to 10:30 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. in St. Eulalia Church , Winchester.

Joe was the former Asst. Director for the Town of Arlington Dept. of Public Works , and Veteran of the Korean War serving his country in the U.S. Air Force.
