In Our Care
It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Eric Lake (32) of Arlington on February 20, 2021
Eric will be missed by his loving family and many friends.
Eric was the beloved son of Robert and his step mother Rachel Lake of Woburn
Kathleen Hernandez and his step father Chris Hernandez.
He was a loving brother to Jacquelyn, Shawna, Maria and Ryan.
Eric was the loving uncle of Emma and RJ Auger of Littleton.
Eric was the beloved grandson of Joyce and Ken Howington of Arlington
Robert and Rosemarie Lake of Arlington.
Eric leaves behind his loving aunts and uncles and numerous cousins that he loved dearly.
Eric was known for his warm smile and always willing to help anyone in need. He loved music and writing.
Eric also had a passion for playing hockey and he enjoyed his time playing at St. Sebastian School and then with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL. Most of all Eric enjoyed passing along his knowledge of the game to others. Eric had expressed many times that he wished the sport was not so expensive to participate in. He felt many more children would enjoy the great sport of hockey if the equipment cost could be lowered. Please consider making a donation of used equipment to your local youth hockey or a charitable contribution to the Eric Lake Memorial Fund which has been established in order to help children that might not have the opportunity to participate in the sport he loved.
We wish everyone good health and god’s blessings to all. The world has lost a special kind soul but he will shine bright in heaven. He was deeply religious and his faith never wavered despite the difficulties he faced in life.
Rest In Peace my dear Eric.
In lieu of flowers please consider donations be made to The Eric Lake Memorial Fund at http://ericlakememorialfund.com/
