Scalese, Eleanor P. (Danna) of Belmont, Ma, passed away on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Scalese and daughter of the late Pasquale and Grace (Seminatore) Danna. Born and raised in Woburn, MA Eleanor worked for the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, Order Sons of Italy in America for 50 years. She, along with her husband, was an avid season ticket holder of the New England Patriots for decades attending every home game and even a few Super Bowls. She was a woman of strong faith and the matriarch of an extensive family. Predeceased by brothers Benjamin, Salvatore, Charles and James and sisters Rose, Anna, Josephine, Grace and Madeline, she leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank Eleanor's neighbors and especially her niece and care giver, Marilyn Caradonna, for all their support and friendship. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the DeVito Funeral Home 761 Mt. Auburn St., WATERTOWN on Monday from 9-11am and to her funeral mass at 11:30am in Sacred Heart Church.
