Norberg, Edward F. III of Winchester. Peacefully on October 2nd at the age of 75 after residing four months in a skilled nursing facility with the supportive care of hospice staff. Ed was the first born of Edward F. Norberg Jr. and Ruth Fox Norberg and husband of 37 years to Patricia O'Toole Norberg. Brother of Richard D. Norberg of Winchester and Phyllis Parece of Woburn. Ed was a 1963 graduate of the school of business at Boston College. His entire working career was devoted to the working of and management of a three generation family business; that being the greenhouse and horticulture of commercial plants. Ed's business degree and knowledge of the industry led him to leadership positions at the Boston Flower Exchange where he served as board member and then president for many years. Quoting Mr. Harry Potter, who is currently president of the Boston Flower Exchange "Ed was the face of the Boston Flower Exchange for more than two decades. He was respected by all for his steady, consistent and principled leadership. He was a mentor and friend to all." Ed was ever a gregarious and engaging personality whose charm will be missed by family and friends. Services are private.
