Smith, Donald Francis of Arlington. Passed away suddenly October 17th. Born May 9, 1934 to the late Frederick and Anna Smith (Hillery) of Cambridge. Loving father of Amy Catherine MacKay and her husband Kevin of Cary, NC and grandfather of Sean and Neve. Beloved brother of Raymond Smith and his wife Marie and predeceased by his siblings, Lt. Col. Sidney Smith (USAF), Frederick Smith Jr., Phyllis Fimian and Nancy Lowder. Married for 25 years to Nina Ruth Whyte of Lorain Ohio. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Donald was a daily attendee of mass at St. Eulalia Parish and was a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Funeral from the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Tuesday at 9 am with a funeral mass to be held at 10 am in St. Eulalia Parish. Burial to follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the funeral home on Monday from 5-8pm.
