Corey was married to Cort Johnson on April 24,1999, at the Latter-Day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City; they were married for more than 18 years. In 2001, the couple and newborn son moved to Cambridge, MA, where Corey supported Cort while he finished schooling and the two continued to build their family. They then lived five years in Albuquerque, NM, before returning to the Boston area in 2013. Corey and Cort have four wonderful children, Ethan (17), Elliot (14), Claire (10), and Charlotte (8), who attend school near their home in Arlington, MA.
Corey treasured her role as a devoted and dedicated wife and mother. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, and friend. Throughout her life she enjoyed playing tennis, taking walks with friends, singing and playing music, telling hilarious stories, serving her church family, and playing games with her kids. She had a unique gift for attracting and keeping life-long friends, who would continually seek her out for comfort and counsel. She always kept those around her laughing.
She is survived by her husband and four children; her mother, Zenda Koch of Billings, MT; her father and his wife, Jack and Carol Lynch of Helena, MT; her brothers Jeff and Conley Lynch of Bozeman, MT, and Portland, OR, respectively; and her sister Jennifer (Patrick) Kuntz of Billings, MT.
