Christine V. Avery ( Downie ) of Lexington passed away on Feb. 21, 2013 at the age of 92. Born to the late St. Clair Downie and Florence Tucker. Christine was a long time Arlington resident prior to her marriage and move to Lexington, MA. She was the wife of the late Darrell B. Avery who passed away in 1992. She is survived by daughters Cheryl Boebel of Billerica and Diane Connors and husband Chuck of Londonderry, NH. Nan was the dear grandmother of; Kimberly Seward, Kevin Miranda and Keith Miranda, and great grandmother of; Austin Miranda, Alex Miranda, Jeffrey Seward, Isabella Miranda and Ethan Miranda. Visiting will be held on Monday at the Saville Chapel of DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Park Avenue Congregational Church 50 Paul Revere Rd., Arlington Heights with interment concluding services at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Park Avenue Congregational Church, would be appreciated.
