Charles D. Vendice, Jr, 82, a lifelong resident of Arlington, passed away on November 26, 2022. Beloved husband of 50 years to Barbara A. (DeAngelis) Vendice. Loving father to Andrea Vendice King and her husband Scott of Arlington. Dear grandfather to Abigail King and Isabella King. Son of the late Charles and Elena (DeNapoli) Vendice. Brother of the late Lorraine McGarrahan. Charles is survived by his brother in-laws Paul McGarrahan of Arlington and Donald DeAngelis of Naples, FL, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Charles, like his father before him, was a carpenter. He built and worked on many properties in Arlington and the surrounding towns. He was an active member of St. Eulalia Parish in Winchester, MA. Charles took great pride in his garden and the flowers around his yard. His wife Barbara, daughter Andrea, and granddaughters Abigail and Isabella were the loves of his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington on Thursday December 8th, 2022 from 9:00am-11:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Eulalia Church, Winchester at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles' memory may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
