Bertha P. Carmody ( Fitzgibbons ) of Lynn, MA at the age of 102 passed away August 15, 2016. She was employed by Delta Airlines prior to retirement and was a resident of Dunedin, FL, for almost 30 years before returning to Lynn. She enjoyed time with her family and many friends and extensive travel during her life. Bertha was the beloved wife of the late
Francis J. Carmody and loving mother of Maureen Healy of Belmont, Paul Carmody of Saugus and Lois Carmody of N. Sandwich,NH. Bertha is also survived by her grandchildren; Jason Callina of Somerset, Megan Stevens of Ipswich, Justin Brown of Dorchester, Christian Carmody of Saugus and Adam Carmody of Dorchester and great grandmother of six.
Sister of the late Joseph, Arthur, George, Dorothy Nelson and Arlene Spaulding. Relatives and Friends are invited to gather on Saturday August 20th at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Lynn for Bertha's Funeral Mass followed by interment in family niche at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lynn.
