Donabedian, Berj of Arlington , MA died October 6th at the age of 78. Husband of the the late beloved Marilyn Donabedian (Natale). He is survived by a beloved daughter, Debra Maffeo (Donabedian) and her husband Anthony of North Reading, beloved son, David Donabedian and his wife Amy of Middleton as well as his five lovely grandchildren. Beloved brother of Bertha Demirjian (Donabedian) of Arlington, Mary Javian(Donabedian) of New York , Dan Donabedian of Watertown and Avedis Donabedian of Devens. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass Avenue ARLINGTON Sunday 4:00 to 8:00pm and to a Funeral Home Service on Monday at 11:00am.
After graduating from Lowell High School (class of 1955) he attended Northeastern University and Suffolk University. He was employed as a materials engineer at AVCO Corporation and Raytheon where he worked on the Apollo Space program, as well as the Patriot and Peacekeeper programs. In later years he was employed by the Mass Department of Transportation. Berj was a member of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Arlington Retired Men's Club, U.S.S. WASP organization and Disabled American Veterans.He was an enthusiast of horse racing, casinos and enjoyed golf, baseball and football. He experienced great joy in attending his grandchildren's Sporting events.
