Briand (McMenimen), Anne F., "Nancy" Age 88, of Arlington, MA., passed away peacefully November 12. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. “Dick” Briand, daughter of the late George C. and Mary L. (Dilworth) McMenimen of East Cambridge and parishioners of Sacred Heart Church. Devoted mother of Rosemary Vincent of Amesbury, MA., Richard J. Jr. and his wife Margaret of South Burlington, VT, Gail Buck and her husband Richard of Winchester and Lawrence and his wife Carol of Simsbury, CT. Sister of Joseph P. and his wife Linda McMenimen of Wilmington, the late Mary L. Harrington and late brother of George C. and his late wife Florence McMenimen, Jr. of Plymouth, NH. Also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nancy was a dedicated parishioner of St. Eulalia Church in Winchester and servant of The Church as Eucharistic Minister, Lector, teacher of CCD and confirmation students, committee member of the commission of the Ever Blessed Virgin Mary, Scripture and Bible study participant. Nancy was also involved in the community being the director of the Town of Arlington group figure skating lessons for ten years and being active member for several years in the Arlington Friends of The Drama. Relatives and friends will gather for visiting hours on Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 pm at The DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass Avenue in ARLINGTON. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10:00am at St. Eulalia Church, Winchester. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington and collation at the Café Escadrille in Burlington at noon.
