In Our Care

Albert S. Reddington passed away peacefully on May 5th. Born on December 2, 1934, Al is survived by his loving wife Christine (Cheney). Proud father of Dennis and his wife Maria of Woburn and Denise and her husband Anthony Masci of Arlington. Adoring grandfather of Anthony Masci, Jr. (Julie), Christine Masci Hurd (John), Lindsay Reddington, Andrew Reddington (Jordan). Al is also survived by 9 great grandchildren. Brother of Donna Sweetland of New Hampshire. Son of the late Samuel and Marguerite Reddington. Albert was born and raised in Everett and Malden. Al served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1952 to 1961. Being in the Air Force and serving his country as his father did was Al’s proudest accomplishment. Al then went on to a distinguished 30 year career at Polaroid, quickly rising to the top as a result of being a self learner. Upon retirement Christine and Al moved to Naples, Florida where they spent 20 happy years. Al will be remembered for singing at many Naples venues. Music was Al’s joy. Al had an abundant knowledge of history. He always had a book in hand, and will be remembered for knowing the answer to all our questions. Our husband, dad, and papa Al will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on Thursday May 12th at 12:30 pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH 03303. Military honors will be rendered. Arrangements under the care of DeVito Funeral Home of ARLINGTON. Please visit devitofuneralhome.com to view an online guestbook.
