My dearest Billy, I can't wrap my head around the idea that you're gone. You were my best friend for 50 years. We shared so many life events and journeys. Adolescence, Junior high, High school, all the fun times in art class, going to prom. Sitting at your kitchen table with your mom, taking long walks around Melrose, living in Brighton, working at Caldor, those were the days. Spending holidays and birthdays together. You introduced me to Jon, the love of my life. I shall be eternally grateful. Thank you for being a groomsman at our wedding. All of the wonderful, fun times we shared down the Cape and spending time at the beach. Boat rides, cooking together (oh yes he could cook a mean meal), fall and winter evenings. Your love for nature and, all the beautiful gardens you created. You always had a camera in your hand capturing moments with family and friends, and your love of sharing the photos and memories with all of us. The best part of our friendship is we had each other to lean on. I could depend on you to listen and you could do the same with me, no judgment. You are a kind, gentle person, filled with fun and adventure. Always up for a good time and we had many!!🍺 I will miss our long meaningful talks, the laughter and the tears. We grew up together walking side-by-side through life. You let me be me and you were the best friend. My safe place to fall. The memories and stories could go on forever and ever. Whenever I hear a little Neil or James I will think of you. I'm so grateful that you were part of my life. Thank you for being my friend .There will always be a special place in my heart for you. Love you always. Carole, Jeff, Susan, and Steven; I'm so sorry for your loss. Billy was a wonderful person. A great friend to everyone. He had a great capacity to love, a good soul, a true artist. You have my deepest Condolences. May his memory be a blessing. Rest in peace Billy❤️ Love you, Edly
