Obituary For Warren L. Adam
Warren L. Adam, of Arlington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, after a long illness. He was born in Cambridge in 1935 to the late Grace (Richardson) and Leslie Adam. He is survived by his two sons and their spouses: Warren John and Avery Adam of Westford, MA, and Seán Adam and Jill Farinelli of Wrentham, MA; and his three grandchildren: Robert Adam of Wrentham, MA, and Cameron Adam and Mackenzie Adam of Westford, MA. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Marguerite (Hayes) Adam, of Arlington, and a grandson, Ryan Joseph Adam, of Westford, Mass.
Warren graduated from Rindge Technical High School in Cambridge, MA. He went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Airman First Class, and was honorably discharged in October 1959. Warren worked for the United States Postal Service as a Distribution Clerk, Service Technician, and finally as Window Supervisor at the Peabody Post Office.
Warren was an avid reader and enjoyed music. He was a member of a barbershop quartet when young and never lost the love of singing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and dedicated his life to his family. He touched the lives of those around him and made them better, and what more can we ask from the life we live.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the House Rabbit Society (rabbit.org/donate) or to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org/join_the_cause_donate.asp).

Warren and Marguerite were most kind and gracious to me while attending college with Sean. I was invited into their home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Despite miles and decades, Sean remains one of my dearest friends and brothers. My condolences to Warren J, Sean, their families, and all who knew and loved the elder Warren. Charles Hardy
