Dearest DiDi, you will be missed tremendously. I shall never forget that you flew three quarter way across the world, to pick me up from India and settle me in Australia just so you could let Mummy know that I was in good hands . The love and warmth that you have shown every member of this family plus the strength and resilience of your personality has been a shining beacon that each and everyone in our family has wanted to live upto. You have truly touched all the people around you at a global level. We love you and can't believe you have gone.

Nina and Monica, my deepest condolences for the loss of your lovely mother. Dr. Gurbani was always a light in support of everyones journey to become the best person that they could possibly be. I remember feeling disappointed one day at NCDS and she shared with me this one thought that I will remember it forever: "Shreyas, you can do anything you want, you just have to believe in yourself." Dr. Gurbani was always able to see the light in everyone and bring happiness to each and every situation. Her light, joy, and energy will live on forever in her daughters and extended family. Rest in Peace Dr. Gurbani.

I felt privileged to work beside Sheela for a year at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children. While I could tell many stories of her mission to offer compassionate high quality care and to generously advise on clinical issues, I'll always cherish most her deep and joyful laugh, her authentic interest in the wellbeing of colleagues and patients, and most of all the inspiring devotion she demonstrated as a wife, mother, and grandmother. At a time when the world, the hospital, and her own family faced many challenges, Sheela would regale us with endearing and uplifting anecdotes of Arvid's newest baby exploit and the admiration she held for her beautiful, accomplished, and caring daughters and sons-in-law. I considered Sheela to be the rare combination of role model and friend. I just can't imagine the world without this brilliant generous human but she's left a rare imprint on so many hearts. Dr. Gurbani was wholly dedicated to the well-being of the children at Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital. Being on her treatment team was a privilege because she brought her full energy to bear on whatever needed to get resolved. She enjoyed the team process, preferring direct communication about her patients because it resulted in better care. She was generous with her knowledge and support. I will miss her greatly and extend my condolences to her family.

What an honor it was to have Dr. Gurbani as an instructor as a new examiner at DDS. Her wealth of knowledge was incomparable, but even greater was her confidence in who she was and why she was in the room. She did not accept excuses for 'not knowing.' She inspired me deeply beyond the scope of work. She handled pressure like a monolith and from her small structure, came voluminous strength. I will cherish her memory and continually be inspired by resilience and example of 'Greatness.' May she forever rest in peace. -Gillian Thomas
