As we go through life we realize that there are only a few true friends. Rick was one of those to me. I could count on him any day or night. We often debated on a number of sports issues. Willie Mays was his favorite ball player. We grew up in different parts of town so we never played together in the town youth sports. He was a fierce competitor but always a friend. We drifted apart as we raised our families but always reconnected. I will miss my best friend but now we have another angel to watch over us. Our prayers, hugs and love go out to his family Steve & Linda

Uncle Rick, I cannot begin to say how much I will miss you and what you meant to me. You stepped in to take Mom and I to my 6th grade graduation banquet and then six years later, did the same thing at my High School Graduation banquet. You let me play Atari 2600 as a kid, got to swim in your swimming pool, called me Bean and Meatball when I was growing up. Your sense of humor was always first rate, coming down for Thanksgiving Dinner and late night Christmas Eve, and then watched you become a Father and Grandfather. I know that Mom, Dad, Nana and Granddaddy welcome you with open arms as you entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Thank you for everything. God Bless. Love, Keith
