To Michael, Paul, and Erin --I am sorry that I was unable to join you on November 11, but I have been thinking of Patty since I learned of her passing. Patty and I shared many years together in the Primary Care Center at Mt Auburn. The main thing I remember about her is her absolute devotion and commitment to family. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. (I remember her referring to Paul – or was it Michael – at a time when you were in your late 30's, as "my cherub". There was a very slight hint of irony in this.) I also remember her calm demeanor, in the chaos of the front desk, and her ability to deal with even the most difficult people. She was a reliable presence, and I always counted on her. My partner remembers that she was very welcoming, and always nice. I am so sorry for your loss, and hope that your support of each other eases the way during this difficult time, and that the multitude of good memories sustain you and offer you a measure of peace. With all my best wishes, Joan Savitsky
