Obituary For Marie A. Whitney

Marie A. Whitney (Harrington) of Arlington, MA passed away on August 15th, 2021 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late William G. Whitney and loving mother of Michael and his wife Debby of Littleton, Jane Berry of Wakefield, RI, Gerry and his wife Kathy of Lowell, Mark and his wife Julia of West Medford and Chris and his wife Linda of Stoneham. Marie is survived by her 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her dear sister Jeanne Whitney.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday in the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., Arlington from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and to her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:00 am in St. Eulalia Church, Winchester. Interment will conclude at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Eulalia Church 50 Ridge Street, Winchester, MA 01890 would be appreciated.

  • I've known Marie for 30 yrs she was my client that became my friend . She was what everyone one in the shop known as my Marie . She loved talking about her family and what they were all doing . She had amazing children and also their spouses . They all took really really great care of her and it showed !! I will miss my Marie but I will also miss all the family stories but especially Chris getting his coffee worth for bringing her in 😂 You are now with you honey Bill and really that's all you've ever wanted ! I will miss you especially on Fridays at 10 love and miss you my friend Love Jamie
