HARVEY, Louise M. of Arlington, passed away after a brief illness on February 18, 2023, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late James P. Harvey. Loving mother of Janet Rogers and her husband, Michael, of Topsfield; Christopher Harvey and his wife Christine of Needham, and mother-in-law of Debra Harvey of Woburn. Pre-deceased by her daughter, Kathleen Coombes and son-in-law, Paul Coombes, and her son, Paul Harvey of Woburn. Treasured grandmother of nine (Bryce Coombes; Kimberly Martin, David, Kelly, James and Edward Harvey; Matthew, Daniel, and Brian Rogers), and great-grandmother of four. Sister of Anna May Callahan of Brighton. Predeceased by 7 siblings Walter, Thomas, Charles, George, Katherine, and Arthur Kilroy and Claire Graham.

Louise graduated from Brighton High School and worked as a bank auditor for many years. Her strong faith and commitment to service were evidenced by her years of volunteerism, including teaching CCD at St. James Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister to the homebound and leading the rosary at assisted livings and nursing homes.

Beloved matriarch of a large family, Louise was the light of every room she entered and every gathering she joined. Her bright smile, wry sense of humor and conspicuous kindness left everyone she encountered just a little bit better for the experience.

Funeral from The DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass Ave, Arlington, Monday, February 27th, 9:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00am in St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington. Interment to follow Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday, February 26th 2:00 to 5:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
