Mama--I have no words that would describe my grief. I just feel your absence in every aspect of my life, our family life. But I know I'll see you again and as we always say, "I'll kiss your face off!" When we meet again. Laina

Lorraine was one of the best sisters-in-law anyone could have. I thank God that she was a wonderful wife and caretaker of my brother David and I'm so glad I often told her how much I appreciated how good she was to him. Sometimes important things are never said! My children and I will miss her dearly and my deep condolences go to David, his three children, their spouses and grandchildren. She had the capacity to be very funny as well as loving and compassionate all of these things wrapped in a special package! She impacted many lives and she will be called "blessed" by these people. Heaven has welcomed one of God's special children. Rest safely in the arms of Jesus, dear Lorraine.

My Auntie Lorraine was so special to me, my husband, our family and the many lifelong friends; in particular, within her church family at Grace Chapel. Through the years I watched her volunteer for many events within Women's Ministries. She had many wonderful attributes. She was smart, extremely humorous and fun-loving, empathetic, quietly generous and kind hearted. She and my Uncle were an amazing and loving partnership; completely devoted to each other. Her passing has left a huge sadness but I'll relish the great memories and will always see her smile when I think of her.

Lorraine, I will mostly miss your sarcastic wit. Oh how I loved going back and forth with you. From when I was your babysitter at 15, to when we became friends as adults, I always loved you. You will be missed my friend. Susan

David and family, your Lorraine will be forever remembered! From the first introduction I had meeting her via your niece Sandy, to all the fun shared through the years! I felt like I could sit and talk to Lorraine about anything and I did. Plus her seeing the comical side of things was so much fun and refreshing. I do not know the answers to the "whys", but I do know of the Faith Lorraine and you spoke to and God's love that can bring "His peace which passes understanding.." May His comfort be all of yours at the loss of Lorraine. Much love. Donna Taylor Matlock and family
