  • I am so sorry and saddened to learn of Jamie's passing. We worked together in the PCU at the West Roxbury VA on night shifts and enjoyed listening to music together, sharing stories and laughing. He so kindly offered to help me move into my new apartment. I last saw him at Nahant Beach walking his beloved Roxy. Thank you for your heart to help and for your service Jamie. You are very missed.

  • Jamie , the salt of the earth. Although I only knew Jamie for a couple months , he was a wonderful natural leader and unbelievable registered nurse. Jamie went out of his way to assist me while staying at the Dom at the Bedford VA. Jamie was extremely bright , motivated , courageous , and a joy to talk to. He always gave 100 % of his time and effort , all the while performing his duties with utmost dedication and drive. Jamie served his country in both Iraq and Afghanistan. We had some very good talks when time permitted. Jamie was the commanding officer of 200 U.S. Army troops in Kandahar province in Afghanistan. Deepest condolences to Jamie's family , friends , and coworkers. Jeffrey M. Nolan

  • My sincerest condolences for your loss. Jamie and I went to Belmont HS together. Regrettably we lost touch. But, as I think back to my years at BHS, Jamie was a huge part of every aspect of my hs journey. He will always hold a special place in my memories of that time. PJ ( BHS class of 81)

  • Jamie, my friend and Comrade! We've been friends for a short time! But what we experienced few would understand! You are a man above men, a gentleman of gentlemen, a lady's gentleman, a soldier, a leader, you represented these United States as only a Patriot would give of himself! I'm proud to know you, serve with you, work with you, and be a close friend with you! You are an honorable man, a good family man, a man true to your family and friends! I'm honored to be your friend!

  • Mt deepest condolences on your loss. Me and Jamie were teammates in Afghanistan. He helped me get my dog back to the states having done the same with one he had found. I grew up in Belmont as a child and we would talk about growing up there. He was a great guy and will me missed.

  • I am so sorry to read of Jamie's passing. I worked with him at the VA and we had many great conversations of nursing life, veteran life, military life, and loving our dogs and the outdoors. Sending thoughts of peace and comfort to Jamie's loved ones.

  • It's hard to believe you are gone! Many night shifts we share our passion for the good old times and songs, we laugh, talk about watches, the war and life itself, we both talk about our time overseas and so many things. You told me about your dogs and how much you enjoyed kayaking ....! May you rest in peace forever! My most sincere condolences to the family.

  • Jamie is one of the most devoted, kind and talented nurses I had the honor of working with at the WX VA. Jamie's patients were so well cared for, and he was such a fantastic advocate for them and their recovery. It was a dream come true to be a physical therapist working with him on post-op patients. I will cherish the work we shared together, and will miss seeing his smiling face.
