David, I'm very sorry for your loss of Helen. I happened to see her name in the church bulletin today. I was so glad to have been able to bring her meals for as long as I did. I always enjoyed seeing you both everyday and Helen was a great lady! Always happy, always smiling, a rare breed in today's world! She will be missed! All my best to you and your family Dave, at this time. You are in my prayers, as is Helen. May God grant you his peace.... JOE DEFELICE .

Dear Jean, Judy, and David, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was such a special lady and a wonderful friend to my mom. I have so many fun childhood memories of days at the beach at the Arlington Reservoir and Plum Island. Your mom was always up for an adventure. She was always there for my mom throughout her life. I am so sorry I am unable to attend her services today. Please know my sisters and I are thinking of you all and our thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. Much love, Denise Adams

Dear Jeanne, Judith, David and family, My sincere sympathy to all of you. Your mother was a very lovely lady and it was always a pleasure to be in her company. The happy memories you have will be a source of comfort in the coming days and will hopefully lessen your sadness. May your mother rest in peace and God's blessings to you all. Love, Janice Weber

To all of Mrs. Kirmes's family, and especially Jeannie, Judy, and David - One of the great things about our neighborhood is that we really *were* raised by a village of people who loved us, and your Mom was front-and-center among those caring adults. I can't count how many times we were in your kitchen on Margaret Street, playing, drawing, doing some craft, or -- my favorite -- baking. She's the one who first taught me to make Toll House cookies, and when I make them even today, I think fondly of her and that kitchen with you all. You were raised by a beautiful person, and her best qualities live on in you and your kids too. love, Diane Rezendes
