Obituary For Alina Shirikyan

Shirikyan, Alina, age 44, of Watertown, died peacefully on the morning of January 15, 2023, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Alina is survived by her loving mother, Maria Shirikyan; her devoted son, Rene Sargsyan, and many friends and family members whom she loved dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday from 10 - 11 am at Saint James Armenian Church, 465 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown. A funeral service will commence at 11 am and burial will immediately follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the Armenian Child Wellness Foundation or Learning Mission to advance health and educational services in Armenia.     Alina was a bright spot in my life as we were in a Bible study together. Her testimony of how Christ worked in her life through all the decades of her life was inspirational. She helped me to be more attentive to how God was working in my life. Though I will miss her in this life, I am so grateful that she is now with Jesus whom she loved. To anyone reading who doesn't yet know Jesus, I pray that you would come to know him today. I am praying for all those who are grieving now.
