Gardner, Rosalie E. of Arlington. Passed away peacefully on January 17th. Born November 15, 1928 in Arlington to the late Christopher Gardner and Eleanor (McCarthy) Gardner. Predeceased by her brother Christopher Gardner Jr. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family members throughout the country. A graduate of Arlington High School, Rosalie attended Regis College for her undergraduate degree before earning a Master’s degree at Boston College. She worked professionally as a chemist and was employed in the Boston VA hospital system where she was involved in groundbreaking biomedical research and lab work. Rosalie was very devoted to her family and friends and had encyclopedic knowledge of her family lineage. In her spare time she enjoyed antiquing and relaxing lakeside at her camp in the Monadnock region of NH. Funeral from the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Monday at 10:30 am with a funeral mass at 11:30 am in St. Eulalia Church, Winchester. Burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
